Hades, the awful man he was trapped Persephone,
Like a bird in a cage,
He figured everyone could only admire her beauty,
But not how her body feels

She was left alone in a room,
She knew her hunger would only be fed by him, the monster,
She was sad, abandoned,
She still got her attention,
But not the way she wanted,
She loved that her admirers still adorned her, craved her,
And she craved all of them
